About Me

My name is Omar Williams, and I'm Running for San Bernardino City Council, Ward 1, because every resident deserve one thing above all else- "peace of mind." I wasn't born here, but San Bernardino raised me. My parents both served this city, and I grew up watching what it means to dedicate yourself to community. I've seen our neighborhoods at their best- and their most neglected. I've seen our streets unrepaired, our small businesses struggle, and too many people feel like their voices don't matter.

Through my career in security and community safety. I've worked face-to-face with the challenges our city confronts everyday- homelessness, rising crime, and the frustration of systems that fail the people they're meant to serve. I know what it feels like to call for help and not have anyone show up. That experience fuels my commitment to fight for a city that truly takes care of its people.

I also serve with the Greater San Bernardino California Republican Assembly, where I've connected with others who share my belief in accountability, integrity, and putting people before politics. My goal is simple: restore trust in our leadership and renew pride in our community.

This campaign isn't about partisanship- it's about pride. It's about restoring dignity, safety,  and opportunity to Ward 1 and beyond. Together, we can rebuild San Bernardino, strengthen our public safety, and give every family and business what we all deserve: peace of mind in the place we call home.

Safer neighborhoods start with trust. I will strengthen partnerships between the community and law enforcement, support our first responders, and expand crime prevention programs so families feel safe where the live, work, and play.

2. CLEAN, CONNECTED COMMUNITIES

We deserve clean, well-lit, and welcoming neighborhoods. I'll prioritize fixing streets, sidewalks, and lighting; crack down on illegal dumping; and install police-like security cameras in high crime areas to protect residents and property.

3. JOBS & OPPORTUNITIES FOR ALL

A thriving economy means opportunities for everyone. I'll work to attract new businesses, expand youth employment and job training programs, and provide pathways for homeless residents to find work and stability- because a strong local economy benefits us all.

4. ACCOUNTABILITY THAT SERVES THE PEOPLE

Transparency, ethics, and results matter. I'll fight for responsible city spending, regular communication with residents, and term limits that ensure your elected officials work for you- not for themselves.
